Peasy Copy Commander

Settings Window

The Peasy Copy Commander settings window is accessed from the tool bar  icon.

There is separate tab pages for Remote Access and History settings

Use copy by default for drag and drop

Files can be selected from the file list and drag and dropped to other places. With the options ticked then when this is done it will default to copying the files. This is indicated with a '+' symbol on the mouse cursor. To move the files instead just press and hold the shift key. If this options is not enabled then by default the files will be moved. To copy the files instead press and hold the ctrl key.

Warn when destroying files or folders

With this option enabled it will prompt for confirmation before deleting selected files and folders, which would then be gone forever.

Warn when extracting compressed files

With this option enabled it will prompt for confirmation before extracting files from a compressed archive.

Date format

The date can be shown in different formats. For the 29 of February 2000 it would be seen as follows.

USA date format month / date / year giving 02/29/00.

UK date format date / month / year giving 29/02/00.

UK date format year / month / date giving 00/02/29.

The default is the system setting or simply the US standard.

Check for updates

If this is enabled it will check with Sartronics.com web site to see if there is a newer version of software available. It will do this once a day.
