Peasy Copy Commander

Remote Access

With the Peasy Copy Commander it is possible to copy files to remote computers, providing the remote machine also has Peasy Copy Commander installed on it. It is for easily coping files to remote computer on local private networks.

There are a number of settings that must first be applied. The firewall will need to be set to allow access for the designated IP port numbers. Once done the then Copy Commander can discover other systems available on the local private network by detection from the multicast address.

To see the a list of discovered systems press the  tool bar button. It will popup a list of machines it has found.

 

Firewall

The operating system firewall need to be setup to allow remote access. For Windows refer here and Linux here.
