SIP Registration
To be able to make phone calls to a normal phone you need to use a SIP service provider. They enable voice of IP (VOIP) calls to landlines and receive VOIP calls from a direct in dial number (DID). You will need to have an account with them to use this feature.
SIP service provider URL
Enter the SIP service provider's URL.
Account / user name
This is normal a number not a name.
Account password
Enter the password for the account that is used to allow SIP service
SIP Phones allowed to make a call
Using a SIP phone device is often a more convenient way to make calls. Instead of using the SIP phone directly with the SIP service provider, it can be assigned to the mail account. By entering the email address and password into the phone it will connect with the mail server. However in order for the SIP phone to be allowed to make calls with the registered SIP service provider this option will need to be selected.
